Why do we care about Sustainability
I care about sustainability because I value connection to people, places, and the planet. It’s about honoring the wild spaces I film in, minimizing impact, and aligning my work with my values.
Travels sometimes but offsets all emissions.
Other Sustainable Practices
I never geotag a location unless it is an established National/State Park. Even then I don't tag the specific hike and only the general location. I also have a LNT clause in each of my contracts. I ensure couples follow LNT on their wedding day.
Imperfectly Sustainable
Wandering Wildflower Films says: "I am still trying to balance the impact of travel especially flying. I travel often and it can be tricky to ensure I am not creating too much emissions. I do drive when I can but have to fly sometimes."
